Natural Play Therapy Coaching &
Parent Learning
1:1 Coaching for child and parents
We offer packages that focus on building a true connection with your child! Natural Play Therapy (NPT) Coaching ensures that you are truly bonding with your child in a way that builds off their motivations and enables them to relate to you in a whole new way!
- Use play as a bridge to enter your child’s special world.
- Learn to take the pressure of yourself and your kiddo. My approach is tailor-made to fit the needs of you and your child (rather than forcing anyone to fit into a cookie-cutter therapy!)
- Sessions typically last 30 to 90 minutes for children and 60 minutes for parents.
- I recommend at least a 3 month commitment to achieve success.

Homeschooling, Self-directed Learning, & Family Support
Customized In-home Support
Are you running an at-home educational program for your child or do you simply want to redefine how you think of the word “school” for your child?
I understand what it means to be EDUCATIONALLY RESPONSIBLE for your child. Conveying alternative schooling methods to the Department of Education can be a major challenge despite your best intentions. It’s very frustrating to feel like your child is being left behind and overwhelming when you consider tackling this situation by yourself.
That’s where I come in. This is a 9 month program in which you get access to me Monday through Friday along with personal in-home or Skype sessions.
Together, let’s…
- Get your unique home program up and running efficiently
- Train a support team to help you maintain your vision.
- Create a simple, customized system that translates your family’s lifestyle into a defined curriculum and helps you keep track of a busy Unschooled life!
- Attend weekly coaching sessions to explore the developmental stages of play, pinpointing the specific play styles and learning styles of each family member.

Social Media Social Skills (Online Kid’s Community)
Crayon Power offers a safe space for children on (and off) the Autism Spectrum to come together in small group settings and practice sharing about the what makes them tick. Sometimes the kids teach Kristen about Minecraft, while other time we share about interests we have in the “real world” like space, geology, maps, Shopkins, and drawing.

natural play therapy
Natural Play Therapy is a lifestyle. It’s not just how I relate to kids, it’s how I relate to people.
NPT is a relationship-based modality that provides tools and guidelines for developing deeper personal connections through bonding across all environmental settings.
